An Owner-Operated Business
Stringers is an owner-operated and home-based business located conveniently in Portland, ME with the goal of providing the most excellent racquet stringing service in Maine combined with one of the most personalized experiences in the industry. As opposed to going to one of your local big-box retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods and getting your racquet serviced by a part-time employee who may or may not know some of the finer points of stringing, you'll be getting a dedicated and highly individualized service with us. We're going to get your service done right the first time and will always meet—but hopefully exceed—your expectations every time.
A USRSA Certified Stringer (CS)
As one of only a small handful USRSA Certified Stringers in the New England area and one of two in Maine, carrying the recognition of Certified Stringer (CS) from the USRSA is a sign of unmatched quality within the racquet service industry. Those who hold this certification have been tested rigorously and have demonstrated a comprehensive understanding in both knowledge and skill with respect to all facets of racquet service. All Certified Stringers are qualified in stringing, grommet replacement and installation, regripping, handle sizing, customizing weight, and with technical adjustments to balance and swingweight. Beyond this, working with USRA Certified Stringer like us ensures that you will be working with someone who is not only qualified, but with someone who holds the expertise to customize to the individual player and provide the highest level of racquet service in the industry.
